Reflection and evaluation play a crucial role in informing the strategic allocation of resources and efforts towards the establishment of Regional Innovation Hubs. By engaging in systematic evaluation processes, hubs can drive continuous improvement, optimize resource allocation, demonstrate impact, and promote accountability. Evaluation helps to assess whether the expected outcomes and goals of the Regional Innovation Hub have been achieved and if the initiative has contributed to positive results. These results may include improved teachers’ digital competence, changes in teaching and learning approaches, new leadership practices, improved level of technical infrastructure and enhanced students’ learning experiences, depending on the specific goals of the Regional Innovation Hub. To facilitate the evaluation process, our toolkit provides a range of tools that cater to the diverse needs and questions of different stakeholders. These tools are designed to collect relevant data and evaluate the effectiveness of the hub’s initiatives and make data-driven decisions to enhance the hub’s impact. Reflection and evaluation provide evidence of the impact and value of Regional Innovation Hubs. By documenting and sharing the results, hubs can demonstrate the tangible benefits of the hub’s initiatives to stakeholders, including teachers, leaders, policy representatives, funding organizations and wider community.
