Capacity building opportunities: Need to provide ongoing professional learning opportunities for educators to enhance their skills in using innovative teaching methods and technologies. This can include workshops, conferences, training programs, development programs and mentorship initiatives to support educators in incorporating innovative practices into their teaching. In iHub4Schools we integrated the development of the School mentoring model (D3.3) into the activities of the Regional Innovation Hubs to promote the systematic and evidence-informed implementation of digital innovation in schools. Through that, school leadership teams, for instance, learnt a lot about planning and organizing school level activities.
The starting point of iHub4Schools was that for evidence-informed and sustainable digital innovation, the collaboration between stakeholders is crucial. Development of five hubs highlighted the importance of bringing together teacher trainers, researchers, school leaders and teachers to create opportunities for professional growth and school improvement.
